Ice skating at Wembley stadium

Today on 4th January 2015,  we went for ice skating at Wembley stadium. There were only two people,  me and my office colleague Akshatha. It was a really nice experience.

I was doing the skating for second time.  I have already done it in essel world mumbai.  For Akshatha, it was first time.

Initially it was very difficult to even walk with holding guide rails. But after some practice,  I was able to walk and even skate without any support.

I fell around 3-4 times but that was worth because only after that I was able to skate better.

It was around 45 mins session.  After that we went to sarvana bhavan and had a south Indian food. It was really a memorable experience for us.

New Year Celebration at London Eye

It was awesome and one of the best new year celebration. We have been to Waterloo bridge to see the most famous london eye fireworks.  We were total 6 friends including me,  Niranjan, Akshatha, Deepa, Kalyani, Juhi and Uzma.

We reached Waterloo bridge at around 4 pm. It was too cold that time. Temperature was around 5 - 6 degree.  Crowd was very less that time.

We choose a good place from where we can see a good view of london eye and Big Ben.

It was still more than 7 hours to go for the new year celebration.  We have purchased lots of food items like sandwiches and fruits.

Then we sat on the footpath and started eating food and playing games. That was the most amazing experience.

It was first time in our lifetime that we sat on footpath and ate food and played games. That too in such a cold and for such a long time.

After somehow passing time for 7 hours, the clock ticked 11.59pm.
We all were excited. 

Countdown begins. And as soon as bell ranged for 12, fireworks started. It was really amazing fire show. 
The show lasted for 10 mins only but it was amazing.

After that we all headed towards our home. There was very long queues outside the station. It took more than half an hour just to enter the station.

We reached our home at around 3am. But we really enjoyed the day.  It was really a memorable experience.
