Trip to Manchester, Lake District and Peak District

Last week we had an amazing trip to Manchester, Lake district and Peak District.

Mummy's Return Journey

On 8th May, 2016, mom started her return journey to India. Flight was from Heathrow terminal 4 at 8.45pm to Delhi. It was a jet airways flight.

We left from home around 5.30pm and reached airport around 6.30pm. It took around half an hour to complete all the process.

The flight left at 8.45pm and reached Delhi around 9.30am. She reached Gurgaon around 12.00pm.

After 1 day stay in Gurgaon, she reached our hometown Rewa next day. It was nice journey and very nice stay in London.

Trip to Little Venice

Yesterday we had an amazing trip to little Venice. It was a boat festival there. We had an amazing boat ride from little Venice Paddington to Camden town. At Camden town, we had some food and then came back by train and bus. It was an amazing trip.

Trip to Croydon and Tower Bridge

Today we went to Croydon and tower bridge. We went Croydon to meet one of our friend Rohit Bhaiya. We went to Finchley road via metropolitan line. From there we took jubilee line to London bridge. From London bridge we took southern line train to Croydon. It took around 2 hours to reach Croydon.

We had lunch there and spent around 3 hours there. We left from there around 5.30 pm and reached London bridge back around 6.30 pm. There we spent around 1 hour. We took loads of pictures there.

It was a really nice day outing.

Trip to Buckingham Palace and Trafalgar Square

Today we went to see Trafalgar square and Buckingham palace. We left from home around 1pm. We reached Leicester square station via Piccadilly line tube. From there it was just a few minutes walk to Trafalgar square.

We spent around half an hour there and then went to Buckingham palace. Buckingham palace is official residence of Queen Victoria.

It was a really nice day outing.

Trip to Snowdonia

Today mom and I went to Snowdonia. We left from home around 5.30am. We reached Wembley around 6 am from where our pickup was scheduled.

Our van was a 16 seater mini bus. We reached slough around 7 am from where our next pickup was scheduled.

But then something unexpected happened. Our bus got punctured. We waited for around 1hr for recovery van.

After 1 hr our bus started moving. We were already late for our destination. Next there was extremely high traffic on the way.

We were around 4 hours late. We reached Snowdonia around 5 pm instead of 1pm. It was already cloudy and cold.

We saw the mountains and the sea shore and took some pictures. Cable car was already closed by the time we reached there.

At around 7 pm we left from sea shore towards our hotel. After 1 hr drive we reached Travelodge.

It was a bit tiring but nice day.

London Eye and Cruise Tour... With Mummy...

Today we went for London eye and Cruise Tour... We left from home around 11.30 PM. We took the metropolitan line to Baker street and from there took the Bakerloo line to Waterloo station. London eye is just outside the Waterloo station.

It was a very nice sunny day. The sun was bright out there. Also since it was a weekday hence there was very less crowd.  We had an awesome half an hour ride in London eye...

Then we went for Cruise Ride. It was a 40 minutes cruise ride from London eye, all the way to Tower Bridge and London bridge and back. We saw the Tower Bridge, London bridge, Shard, St. Paul's Cathedral, Millenium Bridge etc from the cruise. It was a wonderful day trip..

Trip to Canary Wharf and Greenwich.. With Mummy

Today on 3rd March 2016, Mom and I went to Canary wharf and Greenwich, the most famous area of London. We left from at around 11 AM. We reached hammersmith from where we went to White city where my office is situated. I had to give some stuff to one of my friend in the office. My mom went with me to the office. She saw my work place and met some of the office friends.

From there, we went to Bank station. From Bank station, we took DLR to Canary wharf station. Canary wharf is amazing place.

We spent around 1 hour in Canary wharf and took loads of pictures. After that, we went to Greenwich. At around 5 PM, we went to cutty sark, took few more pics and then started return journey back to home. It was an amazing day.

Trip to Ruislip Gardens

Today, we went to Ruislip gardens. Ruislip Gardens are very close to our home. We left from home around 3 PM. We were total 4 people including Ankit, Sonal, Mom and me. It was extremely cold weather outside.

There is a wonderful lake near Ruislip gardens. We walked near the lake. There were many swans in the lake. We than had some coffee near the restaurant and then after spending few hours started journey back to home.

Visiting British Museum

Today we had an awesome day outing at British Museum. We were total 4 people including Ankit, Sonal, Mom and me. We saw the Asian, European and the British section in the museum. It is an extremely rich museum. We saw mummies and some ancient utensils and tools created by ancient men. It was a very nice experience.

Trip to York and Southampton

We had an amazing trip to York, Southampton, Portsmouth and New forest. We were total 7 people including me, Priyanka, Niranjan, Akshatha, Venus, Ankit and Sonal.

We started our trip on 27th Dec 2015 from London. Our destination was York. Our train was in the morning at 8.30 am from King's cross station.

It was an unreserved ticket so we had to find our seats. However, to our surprise, all of the train was full that day. This doesn't happens normally. So we had to travel standing all the way to York.

We reached York around 11am. From there, something unusual started to happen. We all came out of the train and suddenly Venus realised that she had left her bag in the train.

Train was still in the platform so we ran towards the train and somehow managed to get her bag back from the train. That was just the beginning of the series of incidents.
