Helicopter Ride

It was an amazing day. We left in the morning from Wembley for Ealing broadway. Our bus was from Ealing broadway to North weald airfield. It took us around 3 and half hours to reach the airfield. We reached at around 4 PM. It was bit cloudy day but thankfully it was not raining.

After that, we had started booking our flights. There was a special upgradation option in which you can either select front seat or a stunt flight. I have selected front seat option.

After around half an hour, our first batch went for the flight. It was a just 7-8 minute flight.

Ours was 4th batch I guess. We were 4 people including me, Juhi, Akshatha and Rajaram. The pilot was very nice guy. He was telling me about basic controls and other details. He also helped me buckle the seat belts and wear the head phone.

After 5 mins, we took off. The experience was amazing. The view from top was just awesome. We were seeing some amazing building from the top and also some famous building of London. It was little bit rain outside but still the view was awesome.

After 8 minutes of ride, we landed back. Then we had some photosessions and got the photos printed. Overall it was an amazing lifetime experience.

Trip to Richmond Park

Yesterday on 21st March 2015, we went to richmond park. It was an amazing trip. Richmond Park is in south-west of London and was created by Charles I in the 17th century as a deer park. The largest of London's Royal Parks, it is of national and international importance for wildlife conservation.

We were total 7 friends including me, Niranjan, Akshatha, Uzma, Kalyani, Juhi and Tabassum. We reached the park around 2 PM in the afternoon. It was a real chilly weather. We reached the Pembroke Lodge where we had some snacks.

Then we started our journey towards Richmond Park. Richmond park is famous for deers. There are many varieties of deers in this park.

After 20-25 minutes of walk, we reached Pen pond. Pen pond is a good place to see water birds.

We had lots of photos with Deers in background. On the return journey, we had to walk for more than an hour to find a bus stop. Everyone was tired. After a walk of a mile or two, we finally saw a bus stop. We took a bus to reach hammersmith.

From hammersmith, we took district line to reach the next stop, ravenscourt park. Near it was the famous Indian restaurant Potli. We went to Potli for the dinner. There we had lots of chit chat and fun. Overall it was a great day. Here is the link to all our trip photos.

Trip to Trafalgar Square and Bday Celebration of Uzma

Today on 15th March 2015 (Sunday), we went to Trafalgar square to Celebrate the birthday of Uzma. We were total 6 people, Uzma, Akshatha, Tabassum, Dhanesh, Niranjan and me.

We reached trafalgar square around 1 PM in afternoon. It was St. Patrick's day today so there was heavy crowd around trafalgar square area. After spending some time there, we went to a park near Buckingham Palace. It was very nice very big park. Outside it was bit rainy and very cold. We went inside a restaurant. There we cut cake and had a gossip with all friends.

After around 2 hours, we left the restaurant for the Park. The park was very beautiful. There was a small lake and there were so many birds in it.

We have thrown some small biscuits to them and they all started gathering near us eating biscuits and groundnuts. Some pigeons even sat on Niranjan's hands as well.

The squirrel were also daring and came near us and took the food provided by us.

Overall it was an amazing day. We enjoyed a lot :)
