Trip to Richmond Park

Yesterday on 21st March 2015, we went to richmond park. It was an amazing trip. Richmond Park is in south-west of London and was created by Charles I in the 17th century as a deer park. The largest of London's Royal Parks, it is of national and international importance for wildlife conservation.

We were total 7 friends including me, Niranjan, Akshatha, Uzma, Kalyani, Juhi and Tabassum. We reached the park around 2 PM in the afternoon. It was a real chilly weather. We reached the Pembroke Lodge where we had some snacks.

Then we started our journey towards Richmond Park. Richmond park is famous for deers. There are many varieties of deers in this park.

After 20-25 minutes of walk, we reached Pen pond. Pen pond is a good place to see water birds.

We had lots of photos with Deers in background. On the return journey, we had to walk for more than an hour to find a bus stop. Everyone was tired. After a walk of a mile or two, we finally saw a bus stop. We took a bus to reach hammersmith.

From hammersmith, we took district line to reach the next stop, ravenscourt park. Near it was the famous Indian restaurant Potli. We went to Potli for the dinner. There we had lots of chit chat and fun. Overall it was a great day. Here is the link to all our trip photos.
